Granada Little League: Important Dates for the Spring 2025 Season

We are excited to announce the key dates for the upcoming Spring 2025 baseball season. Please
note that all dates are tentative and may be subject to change as we approach the start of the
season. We will keep you informed of any updates.

Registration Dates:
  - Registration Opens: October 1, 2024
  - Registration Closes (Majors-Single A Division): December 5, 2024
  - Registration Closes (Lower Division): January 3, 2025

Player Evaluations:
  - League Age 12 - League Age 8: December 7, 2024 & December 14, 2024
Evaluations are mandatory for all players League age 12- League 8. These evaluations help us
create balanced teams to ensure a fun and competitive experience for all players.

**Important Note:
If your child does not attend player evaluations, they will be automatically placed in the division
they played in last year or the lowest division allowed by their age. For example, if your child
was league age 9 last year and played in AA, and they are now league age 10 but do not attend
evaluations, they will not have the option to move up to AAA. Instead, they will remain in AA.

Family Notifications:
  - Majors-A Division: Teams will be announced by December 20, 2024
  - Lower Division*: Teams will be announced by January 17, 2025
  -If your child is league age 8, they are eligible for Single A or Farm.
  - Single A Team Notifications: If you are not notified of your child’s team assignment by
December 20, 2024, you will receive notification by January 17, 2025, when Farm teams
are announced.

Practice Start Dates:
  - Majors-A Division: Practices are expected to start by January 13, 2025
  - Lower Division*: Practices are expected to start by January 25, 2025
